The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority, and the Mongolian National Mining Association will jointly host the fourth edition of the “MiningWeek & MinePro 2025” international conference and exhibition on September 11–13 at Taij Khairkhan in Nalaikh District. This year’s theme is “A New Cycle of the Mineral Sector: Investment and Responsible Mining.”
The event will bring together parliamentarians, Cabinet members, government agencies, private sector leaders, ambassadors, international organizations, investors, chambers of commerce, and both domestic and foreign experts. Notably, the Mining Association of Canada — developer of the Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) standard — and the China Mining Association, a key partner of Mongolia in investment and exports, will attend with large delegations.
The program will feature discussions on responsible mining, sustainable development, the investment climate, international trends, geological research and exploration, the oil and new energy sectors, advanced technologies, and the sustainability of industrial value chains.
At the “MinePro 2025” exhibition, mining suppliers, major projects, international investors, banks, financial institutions, consultants, and technology companies will showcase their work, creating a key platform for partnerships and information exchange.
Highlights include a Mining Sector Job Fair, where companies will present vacancies, provide career guidance, and engage with the public. On the final day, the “Future Engineers” program will offer youth insights into emerging technologies, professional trends, and career opportunities in the industry.
